          As we step into what some refer to as the "100-year era", others term it the age of unity, and yet another sees it as an epoch marked by challenges surpassing mere solution. In times gone by, patience was deemed key to achievement, but now we find ourselves in an era where questions hold the power to shape destinies. This signifies a shift wherein those who dare to question the status quo, those who bravely confront existing norms with bold inquries, will emerge as the pioneers of tomorrow.

          To adapt to this evolving landscape, the College of Healthcare Medical Science & Engineering of Inje University has undergone transformative changes since 2017, restructuring to frster inerdisciplinary talents through a student-centric educational approach. Currently, we offer eight departments, including   Physical Therapy, Biomedical Laboratory Science, Occupational Therapy, Emergency Rescue, Biomedical Engineering, Occupational  Health and  Safety Engineering, Nutrition & Food Techonology  and  Companion Animal Health, along with night transfer programs for Biomedical Labortory Science, Heath Care Management, and Industrial Safety & Health. Additionally, we offer operational departments, including three interdepartmental convergence majors : Nuclear Application Engineering, Health Prescription, and Fire and Disaster Management.

          Our commitment to excellence is evidenced by the outstanding performance of our students, with departments such as Physical Therapy, Biomedical Laboratory Science, and Occupational Therapy boasting the highest national exam passing rates in the country, earning them national licenses and recognition. Meanwhile, our tradition-rich departments like Biomedical Engineering and Health and Safety Engineering, with a history spanning three decades continue to produce TOP-TIER professionals who excel both domestically and internationally. Moreover, the Department of Food and Nutrition, along with Food Engineering, prepares individuals to excel in th pet food industry, serving both people and their beloved pets. Likewise, the Department of Companion Animal Helth trains specialists in animal well-being and helathcare, including veterinary practitioners to address the changing demands of society. Similarly, the Department of Emergency Rescue focuses on enhancing students' communication abilities during crises, emphasizing the core principle of valuing human life, and primarily aiming to nurture skilled professionals capable of effectively responding to evergency situations and rescuing patients in need.

          We - Inje University and Paik Hospitals - have established themselves as Korea's TOP-TIER educational institutions that nurture health and medical professionals with integrity and expertise by inheriting the founding spirit of benevolence and virtue.
